BEWARE: Sears is an absolute joke!
My wife and I ordered a new fridge on Sears.com on March 19th for the sum-total of $1552.36. They were not willing to deliver it to our home since we are so remote. So we had it delivered to my mother-in-law’s house some 90 miles to the west of here.
It arrived on March 27th severely damaged by the idiots they had used as a delivery service. We refused to accept it.
They then rescheduled another delivery for March 31st. On March 30th and again on March 31st they confirmed it would be there on March 31st. That day came and went with no fridge. They say the new fridge didn’t make it to the semi-trailer and we would have to reschedule yet again.
Keep in mind, each time we spent 180 miles on the road to go meet the delivery. So I cancelled the purchase entirely. I might add that I spent no less than six hours on the phone to do so with their Philippine workers who barely speak English. Not to mention the time spent driving and waiting for a delivery that never happened. It was a damn nightmare.
Today, I received the following email from these idiots!
